The neighbourhood includes several historical landmarks, like the Correos y Telégrafos building and the Estación de Francia. The first one is notable for its interior of arches, vaults and stained glass windows, while Estación de Francia is characterized by its noucentista hall, which features three large domes.
La Ciutadella is the oldest natural park in Ciutat Vella. One of its landmarks is the monumental waterfall, which was designed by Gaudí and built between 1875 and 1888. The park also includes a greenhouse, which has 128 years of history and houses plants from around 20 different countries.
