Sant Martí
A neighbourhood with an industrial past

The Parque del Fòrum was built for the Universal Forum of Cultures 2004. It is worth highlighting the photovoltaic pergola, which in addition to being one of the most relevant solar power plants in the national territory, is the hallmark of the Forum.

At the exit of the Forum is the Museu Blau, designed by Herzog & de Meuron. A few meters away, next to the zone of Glories stands Ca l'Aranyó, an old cotton factory that for more than a hundred years was one of the most important in the Poblenou neighborhood.
